California has natural beauty across its huge expanse with towering forests and incredible mountains to beautiful beaches and deserts. California is the third largest state in the USA covering 158,693 square miles, with a coastline og more than 1,264 miles long. California boasts a staggering total of 4.1 million acres of National Parks, so natural attractions are a plenty. So too are the favourites of California including Disneyland and Universal Studios. The state goes down to the Mexican border and so a quick trip to Mexico is not out of the question.
Driving in California
Speed limits vary and can be from between 25mph to 35mph for the suburbs and city roads and 55mph up to 70mph for the freeways and highways (look out for signs). If you do receive a ticket for a motoring offence, sign it to avoid being arrested. Drive on the left hand side.

Dates for Your Diary - Carnival Of Binche - Northern California's largest annual Mardi Gras Celebration is in San Jose! Come join the thousands of revelers celebrate "Fat Tuesday".
