Both Cannes and Nice are served by the Nice Cote d'Azur Airport (NCE) which is located 4.5 miles west of Nice town centre and just 7 miles from Cannes. It is one of the busiest airports in the country catering for the very many travellers en route to the south of France for business and pleasure. It is therefore no surprise to learn that the airport is used by a large number of domestic and major international airlines.

Nice Cote d'Azur Airport has two passenger terminals both providing passengers with top class facilities. Branches of banks, ATM's, bureau de change facilities, excellent restaurants, cafés and bars can all be found in the concourses of either terminal.

Parking at Cannes Airport

Nice Cote d'Azur Airport provides extensive car parking facilities. Sufficient spaces for short and long-term parking and disabled passenger parking are available and convenient.

Parking at areas P3 & P6 , are free for the first 30 minutes
Terminal 1 operates a drop off area charmingly know as "Kiss and Drop".
Also found at Terminal 1, are parking areas P3 (short term) and P4 (Long term).
At Terminal 2 you will find two short term parking areas - P5 and P9
A further long term parking area P8 is situated outside of the airport on the RN 98.

Where to go in Cannes

Hire a car at the airport and travel to Cannes' prestigious seaside promenade, La Croisette. This lively town centre is overflowing with boutiques, and you will also find the picturesque old port and Suquet hill which make up the old town. Take your car and drive just 4km north of Cannesand you will discover Le Cannet.

It is a lovely village of winding streets and old houses. Or drive to the east, where you will find La Californie a chic (and exclusive) community full of luxury villas. Just 1km from Cannes' shores are the Iles Sainte-Marguerite where the “Man in the Iron Mask”, made famous by Alexandre Dumas, was kept for eleven years, and Saint-Honorat with its wonderful monastery. They attract thousands of visitors every year and are well worth a visit.
