Events in Bologna

• Basilica di San Petronio - This is a large cathedral which has impressive reliefs on the doors, and fabulous interior fifteenth-century frescoes of heaven and hell.
• The Due Torri of Bologna - These are two leaning structures both built in 1119. The shorter tower the Torre Garisenda, was immortalised in Dante's Inferno . The taller tower is the Torre degli Asinelli. This is over 300ft tall. It is open to the public and currently leans about 3ft. If you have strong feet and you're not feeling too giddy the climb is worth it once you see the great views.
