Latvia originally part of the Soviet Union is situated in Northern Europe. Speed limits in Latvia are as follows: City 50kph Open Roads 90kph Highways 100kph. There are no toll roads. Driving is on the right hand side and you must drive with your lights on the on position at all times.

• St Peters Church - Riga - Take the elevator to the top for an unbelievable 360 degree view of the entire city!
• Reval (Latvija) Hotel - This is one of three Soviet built high-rise buildings in the city. There are many other  "soviet left-overs" hidden around the city to marvel at as well, so take time out to fully explore the city.
• Riga's Opera house - Here you can not only marvel at the building but the performance as well! The park adjoining the Opera house is also worth a look if only to have a short stroll and sit down.
