Must See in Spain

Madrid

Madrid is Europe's fourth largest city and has a wealth of history aswell as its fashionable districts for fashion and trendy bars. The city's historic heart is easily explored on foot within the narrow streets of the medieval quarter in contrast with the grand boulevards from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Barcelona

Since hosting the Olympic Games in 1992 Barcelona has undergone a transformation of immence proportions with numerous new builds many of which have been designed by the world's top architects. Barcelona is now one of Europe's most popular short break destinations.

Marbella

Marbella has in its municipality 27 Km. of coastline which is divided into 24 beaches. Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella, before you reach the small town of San Pedro de Alcantara. This is the place to be pampered yachtside and ogle those fabulous luxury yachts while sipping a drink at one of the many open air restaurants and bars. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views.

Seville

Within Seville there is much to see including Seville's cathedral which is the third-largest in the world and has a long history. Most of it design is in late gothic and plateresque styles, though we find important Renaissance elements as well. Especially remarkable are the Flemish glass-works and the treasures in the cathedral's museum.

Also in Seville is Giralda which when it was built, was the highest building in the world. Today, with some additions made by the Christians including a huge bronze statue at its top it still measures 97.5 metres. Needless to say that from the top you may enjoy fantastic views all over all the city.
