Directions to Heathrow Airport

London Heathrow is 15 miles west of London, on the M4 motorway, near the M25 interchange. All Terminals are clearly signposted from the motorway exits.

Terminals 1,2 & 3 - Terminals 1, 2 & 3 are located in the centre of Heathrow and can be reached via the following motorways: M4 Junction 4, M25 Junction 15, and the A4.

Terminal 4 - Terminal 4 is on the south side of Heathrow and can be reached via the following motorways, M4 Junction 3, M25 Junction 14, and the A30.

Terminal 5 - Terminal 5 is on the Western Perimeter Road and has its own separate access road, reached from junction 14 of the M25. If you're coming from the M4, exit at junction 4b and follow the M25 south to junction 14.

For security reasons, private cars may not stop on the terminal forecourt roads for any purpose other than to set down or pick up passengers.

Cars left unattended are liable to be towed away by the police and a retrieval charge levied. Public transportation to and from the airport is reliable with frequent services by the underground tube network, Heathrow express trains, National Express coaches, London Transport buses and London black cabs which are available from every terminal.

Disabled access is good, all terminals offer: ramps, wider access pathways, telephones at a height accessible to wheelchair users, disabled toilet facilities and reserved seating for disabled people in check-in areas. Travel-Care is an independent agency offering assistance to anyone at London Heathrow Airport who has a problem. Travel-Care can be found in the Queens Building in between Terminals 1 and 2. Open from Monday to Friday from 09.00 - 17.00 and closed Saturday/Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Heathrow Airport Parking Facilities

Short and long term airport parking is available with regular shuttles running between the long term parking area and the terminals. Short stay parking is recommended for stays up to five hours and is available from all four terminals. Business Parking is recommended for travellers parking for up to three or four days, or those wanting greater speed and convenience. The long stay car parks located at Heathrow Airport offer secure parking facilities, conveniently connected to the airport's terminals via transfer services that run every 5-15 minutes.
