Car Hire Leeds:: Leeds Bradford AirportLeeds Bradford International Airport
The Airport is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is signposted on all major roads, including the M1 and M62 motorways and the Yorkshire section of the A1. There is plenty of on-site parking available, disabled car parking is only available in the short stay car park 1. Taxi's are readily available outside the terminal building, there are regular bus services from Leeds, Harrogate and Bradford City centres, and connections from Leeds City train station. Lifts are available throughout the terminal building serving all floors. There are disabled toilets on every floor. there are a number of retail outlets where you can pick up those last minute buys for your flight, including magazines, books and snacks. As well as retail outlets, there are also restaurant and catering facilities within the Terminal. There is a children's play area (unsupervised) and a prayer room on the first floor of the departure lounge. About Leeds Leeds makes a good central base for visiting the sites and attractions of the North of England. Leeds is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with walking, climbing and caving on its doorstep, and is well placed for quickly reaching the North Yorkshire Moors, the Lakes, Derbyshire and the wild Pennine moors of Bronte country. There are many fine golf courses in the Leeds area and it only takes two hours to get to London kings cross station by train. Elland Road is the home of Leeds United Football Club and both Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rugby League Club, the city has an international sized swimming pool which is close to the university |
