Miami is the most southern resort in America. You will have heard of the famous Miami Beach. This is in fact an altogether separate place from Miami City itself. Situated some 4 miles from Miami, it is actually an island with long sandy beaches lapped by the blue Atlantic waters. If you venture into the ocean to snorkel or scuba, you will be plunged into a wonderland of aquatic marvels. Among the shoals of jewel like tropical fish you stand a good chance of seeing sponges, vast pufferfish, gorgeous angelfish, rays and dolphins.

• The enchantingly Hispanic Little Havana area. This is the home of many of the Cuban refugees who fled during the early Castro years.
• Miami Seaquarium – A truly wonderful aquatic spectacle with many rare sea creatures and the famous dolphins and killer whales.
• Cape Florida Lighthouse .
• Coral Gables Waterway.
• The Everglades - an hour's drive from the city. Do go and see the flocks of flamingo.
• The famous Ocean Drive – Have a go at roller blading with the natives.
